Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine tasks independently and generate reliable and consistent results.
  • Analyze and critique results, noting significant deviations.
  • Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation.
  • Learn and understand new experimental techniques.
  • Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of research programs.
  • Present interpreted results and updates internally in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry/Biophysics, Chemistry, or equivalent, with typically 3 years’ experience or Master’s Degree or equivalent education (no additional experience).
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out method development and qualification.
  • Experience in separation-based assays including but not limited to UPLC/HPLC based methods, capillary electrophoresis (CE), and imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (icIEF).
