Mindfulness Inspired Art CIC is dedicated to improving well-being by combining guided mindfulness practices with creative art sessions in Milton Keynes. Our mission is to reduce stress and isolation, particularly among individuals from ethnic backgrounds, fostering a sense of community and inclusion via promoting Arts, Culture, and Mindfulness practices. We aim to create a safe space for self-expression and personal growth. Looking ahead, we are focused on building new collaborations and partnerships to expand our impact. As a Community Interest Company (CIC), any surplus generated is reinvested into our social mission rather than distributed as profit.
Role Description
This is a voluntary, non-executive role and offers an opportunity to contribute to a social enterprise. We are looking for someone who shares our values and would like to support the CIC. This is a supportive director role rather than an operational one. While active involvement is welcomed, the role is designed to be manageable alongside other personal and professional commitments. Please ensure there is no conflict of interest with your existing job role.

- Able to act in the best interests of the CIC.
- Willing to provide constructive support and guidance when needed.
- Comfortable fulfilling the legal responsibilities of a CIC Director.
- Previous board or director experience is welcome but not essential.

Time Commitment
