  • Comfortable working alongside Rails to apply your designs to implemented code with oversight and feedback.
  • Comfortable with using design software tools like Figma to accomplish simple tasks.
  • Have good visual taste and design sensibilities, but may sometimes require support from a senior designer.
  • Care about creating accessible, intuitive, and visually appealing interfaces and have a high attention to these details.
  • Able to run and own small-batch projects (2-weeks) from concept to delivery alongside a backend engineer.

You will

  • Work on our customer facing website and our internal backoffice web apps to enable our kitchen and operation teams to serve our customers high quality and healthy meals.
  • Identify and implement improvements to user experience, accessibility, performance and code quality across our interfaces.
  • Work on projects within 6-week cycles to design and build new features, and improve existing functionality.
  • Document and build out our internal design system, components, and base stylesheets as changes are made.
  • Communicate what you’re working on in team calls, and async updates.

What you'll be working with

  • Tech Stack: Ruby on Rails, Hotwire (Turbo, and Stimulus), Tailwind v4.
  • Design Tools: Figma.
  • Workflow: GitHub for version control and CI/CD, Shape Up methodology.

Why us?

  • A competitive package that rewards your skills and dedication.
  • Flexibility of remote (UK only) or hybrid working from our office based in Wandsworth.

  • Join an award-winning startup backed by the largest food and beverage company globally.
  • Experience a workplace that feels like home, complete with free meals, a gym, a vertical farm, and pet-friendly policies.
