We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join Mindful Chef’s in-house creative team. This role supports the delivery of engaging visual content across marketing, customer, and brand channels, helping to maintain a consistent and high-quality visual identity across all touchpoints.

You will assist in the creation and execution of design work across digital, print, and CRM communications, working closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to deliver assets that are accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time. A key responsibility of the role includes owning the production and artwork of the weekly SWK (Slimming World Kitchen) recipe magazine.

You are:

  • Some experience in a design role, internship, or placement, supported by a strong portfolio
  • Experience creating paid advertising creatives
  • Exposure to motion design and animated asset production
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent design software)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with guidance
  • A proactive attitude, with willingness to learn and take feedback
  • Strong foundational creative and technical design capability

You will:

  • Assist in the creation of visual assets across digital, print, and CRM channels
  • Support the production of marketing materials, customer communications, and internal assets
  • Collaborate with senior designers on project kick-offs, ideation, and design development
  • Deliver design work in line with briefs, brand guidelines, and timelines
  • Act as a brand champion, ensuring consistency across all outputs
  • Implement feedback and revisions accurately and efficiently
  • Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc design requests
  • Prepare and adapt design files for both digital and print production
  • Maintain organised design files, templates, and asset libraries
  • Support version control and smooth asset handover processes
  • Develop technical and creative skills through hands-on experience across multiple formats
  • Build understanding of brand identity, visual systems, and commercial design requirements
  • Own the weekly SWK recipe magazine production process, including stakeholder management and final artwork delivery
