At Mindful Chef, great planning powers great results. As our Supply Chain Planner, you’ll play a central role in shaping how our business prepares, plans, and performs. You’ll be at the heart of forecasting, supplier planning, and cross-team collaboration—working closely with operations, buying, kitchen, and logistics teams to make sure the right products are in the right place at the right time.

Working days: Sunday - Thursday

You are:

  • A confident, engaging communicator who enjoys leading conversations and influencing decisions.
  • Comfortable working with both data and people, balancing analysis with collaboration.
  • Highly organised, resilient, and calm in high-pressure environments.
  • Experienced in forecasting, planning, or supply chain in fast-moving or food/consumer goods environments (preferred).
  • Confident using spreadsheets and planning tools to manage and communicate data clearly.
  • Positive, proactive, and naturally solutions-focused.

You will:

  • Forecasting & Demand Planning (Short & Long Term)
    • Own short-term and long-term demand forecasting across product categories.
    • Analyse sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and customer behaviour to create accurate, data-driven forecasts.
    • Work closely with operations, marketing, and commercial teams to align forecasts with business plans.
  • Menu Planning Collaboration
    • Partner with the kitchen and commercial teams to support menu planning, ensuring recipes are operationally feasible and supply-ready.
    • Translate menu plans into supply requirements, balancing innovation with availability, cost, and supplier capability.
    • Manage supplier readiness for new menu launches and menu rotations.
  • Event Planning & Operational Support
    • Plan supply chain activity for company-led events, campaigns, pop-ups, and product launches.
    • Coordinate cross-functional timelines to ensure stock, packaging, and logistics are aligned for events.
    • Act as the main planning contact for ad-hoc and high-profile business projects.
  • Ordering & Supply Planning
    • Place and manage orders across fresh, dry, long-life, and packaging categories.
    • Work closely with suppliers to confirm capacity, lead times, and delivery schedules based on forecasts and plans.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Act as the communication hub between suppliers, operations, buying, technical, and finance teams.
    • Present plans, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders across the business.
    • Run Key Planning Meetings.
    • Lead and facilitate inbound planning meetings to align deliveries and capacity.
    • Run weekly operational planning reviews, sharing forecast updates, risks, and mitigation plans.
    • Hold regular 1:1s with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive performance and continuous improvement.
  • Category & Supplier Ownership
    • Own planning for key product categories, monitoring performance and identifying risks before they impact service.
    • Build strong, long-term supplier partnerships to support both current and future growth.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify gaps in planning accuracy, stock efficiency, and supplier performance.
    • Drive improvements across forecasting tools, processes, and cross-team workflows.
