The Faculty of English wishes to appoint a part‑time 0.6 FTE temporary Teaching Associate in 19th Century Literature from 1 January 2026 to 30 September 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Teach, examine and supervise dissertations on topics related to 19th Century Literature at undergraduate and Masters (MPhil) level.

Qualifications

  • Good first degree and a doctorate (awarded before 1 October 2025) in a relevant subject area.
  • Experience successfully delivering and developing teaching at university level, including lectures, seminars and small‑group teaching.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
