Overview
Applications are invited for the post of Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (neaco) Data Analyst. The post holder will process learner data collected by partners and be responsible for its subsequent monitoring and analysis. The role will also be required to work closely with the Evaluation Coordinator to ensure data is coded correctly and to disseminate complex information to different audiences. The post holder will provide training and day-to-day support to non-technical colleagues and provide detailed management information for the neaco Steering and Executive Groups, and for reporting to the Office for Students. The post holder will liaise with other Uni Connect Partnerships nationally to ensure best practice in data collection, analysis, reporting, and evaluation of impact.
This position is part of the Uni Connect Programme, funded by the government and overseen by The Office for Students (OfS). The programme supports access to higher education irrespective of background, location or characteristics. The University of Cambridge acts as lead for a partnership across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The post is subject to external funding and is available on a fixed-term contract until 31 July 2026. This role is available part time (0.8 FTE); applicants seeking 0.6 FTE will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Process learner data collected by partners and monitor and analyse its outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Evaluation Coordinator to ensure correct data coding and reporting.
- Disseminate complex information to diverse audiences and provide training and day-to-day support to non-technical colleagues.
- Deliver detailed management information for the neaco Steering and Executive Groups and for Office for Students reporting.
- Liaise with other Uni Connect Partnerships nationally to share best practices in data collection, analysis, reporting, and impact evaluation.

- Experience in data processing, monitoring and analysis of learner or program data.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to different audiences.
- Experience providing training and supporting non-technical staff.
- Ability to produce detailed management information and participate in reporting to external bodies.
