The Role: As our Website Experience Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing and evolving the PACE website. You’ll be part of the collaborative External Engagement Division, which brings together marketing, student recruitment, admissions and alumni relations, using your digital expertise to create an intuitive, accessible and strategically aligned online experience. From SEO and analytics to agency coordination and technical enhancements, you’ll be the go‐to person for all things web.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the day‐to‐day management of the PACE website, ensuring it delivers a high‐quality, intuitive experience that reflects our brand and meets user needs.
  • Optimise the site for search engines and user experience, using tools like GA4, Hotjar and SiteImprove.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and an external web agency to deliver continuous improvements.
  • Use data insights to drive performance, improve conversion rates and support digital campaigns.
  • Support and train colleagues in CMS best practices and content accessibility.

Your Skills:

  • Proven experience managing websites and content management systems (Drupal preferred).
  • Strong understanding of UX, SEO and digital accessibility standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  • A degree or equivalent professional experience.

This opportunity is open to both external candidates and internal applicants seeking a secondment. We welcome applications from individuals interested in flexible working arrangements. The role is hybrid, giving you the flexibility to split your time between remote working and in‐person collaboration. You’ll be based at Madingley Hall, located just outside of Cambridge city centre, twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), with the rest of your time working remotely.
