We are looking for a Senior Tech Lead/Solution Architect to guide our engineering team, drive technical decisions, and help shape the future of our projects. Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in .NET.
- Experience with Azure.
- Experience with React and Next.js.
- Experience with scalable system architecture and microservices.
- Solid understanding of version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing practices.
- Ideally previous experience in the fintech industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in agile environments.
- Background in mentoring or coaching engineers.
As a Tech Lead/Solution Architect, you will:
- Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable systems.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, code quality standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews, promote knowledge sharing, and foster a strong engineering culture.
- Identify technical risks and bottlenecks, and propose solutions proactively.
Must-haves:
- Building secure, scalable web apps; strong grasp of API integration and data modelling.
- Comfort with iterative delivery, trunk-based development, CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing.
- Experience with RBAC/authorisation, audit/logging, and handling PII.
- Collaborative mindset; able to work with Product, UX, and Compliance SMEs.
Nice-to-haves:
- AML/KYC or regulated-industry portals; case/workflow systems.
- Experience integrating with Reapit/MM/Land Registry and KYC providers (Credas/CallVal).
- Observability (metrics/tracing), performance tuning, accessibility.
