About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team and help shape intuitive, engaging, and customer-centric mobile experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives across both discovery and delivery, partnering closely with Product teams to deeply understand customer problems and translate them into simple, effective, and impactful design solutions.
You will play a key role in designing and optimising customer-facing mobile applications, working collaboratively with Product Managers, Product Owners, developers, and fellow designers to deliver high-quality experiences that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to co-own the discovery process, identifying customer problems, business objectives, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct and leverage user research, usability testing, journey mapping, problem framing, and insight reviews to inform design decisions.
- Translate customer insights, product requirements, and business priorities into clear, simple, and effective design solutions.
- Design end-to-end mobile experiences, from initial concepts through to delivery, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Create intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences using existing design systems, whilst identifying opportunities for improvement or evolution where required.
- Simplify complex customer journeys and optimise existing features in line with customer needs, product goals, and delivery constraints.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Design, to shape requirements, align on solutions, and ensure smooth delivery.
- Communicate design rationale, customer insights, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain excellent organisation within Figma, ensuring strong file hygiene, consistent naming conventions, version control, component usage, and up-to-date design assets.
- Contribute positively to the wider design community by sharing knowledge, seeking feedback, and helping foster a strong design culture.
Requirements
Essential
- Significant experience as a Senior Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role.
- Proven experience designing customer-facing mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end product design process across discovery and delivery.
- Experience conducting and applying user research methods, including usability testing and journey mapping.
- Excellent UI, interaction, and visual design capabilities.
- Demonstrable experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility principles and designing for inclusive experiences.
- Experience working with established design systems.
- Ability to balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical considerations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Figma with excellent organisational practices.
Desirable
- Experience within travel, banking, fintech, or other complex, customer-centric digital environments.
- Familiarity with native i OS and Android design patterns and platform guidelines.
