We\’re looking for a Staff Frontend React Engineer to join our team! You\’ll play a key technical leadership role, working closely with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams and will be responsible for building fluid and responsive user interfaces for multiple platforms and devices. When you join Mindera we welcome you into a fun and politics-free work culture, built on the principles of lean and self-organisation .
Please note: This position requires you to work on client-site in central London three times a week.
Requirements
Skills and Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience in software engineering with React;
- Banking experience, specifically credit experience;
- Experience working with Javascript, Typescript and modern frameworks and platforms like React.JS, Next.JS;
- Hands on experience with React and knowledge of advanced patterns;
- Good understanding of best practices in terms of using SSR, CSR or hybrid approaches;
- Experience with CI/CD workflows and writing automated tests;
- Experience using cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure;
- Markup and styling with HTML5 and CSS3;
- Unit testing using Jest or Enzyme;
- User Interface Performance and Responsiveness;
- Previous experience in balancing technical priorities with business needs and aligning teams with organisational goals while maintaining technical standards;
- A strong interest in understanding market dynamics and identifying customer needs to drive strategic decision-making and business growth;
- Experience in mentoring engineering teams , fostering collaboration and providing guidance when needed
