  • Support and contribute to the SAP ECC to S4 transformation programme from a technical perspective
  • Lead and shape integration patterns between SAP, Oracle and surrounding systems, including middleware and service based architectures
  • Contribute to SAP decoupling strategies where appropriate, enabling more flexible and modular platforms
  • Work closely with Product and functional teams who define business processes, providing technical input and constraints
  • Collaborate with third party vendors and internal teams to ensure high quality delivery and operational support
  • Drive improvements in engineering practices including deployment frequency, automation and security compliance
  • Support wider platform modernisation initiatives, including alignment with cloud and emerging technologies
  • Support operational excellence across platforms, including monitoring, resilience and incident management
  • Contribute to wider platform modernisation initiatives and alignment with cloud and emerging technologies.

Experience and Skills

  • 15+ years of experience working with enterprise platforms in large scale environments, with strong expertise in SAP and exposure to Oracle HCM

  • Strong understanding of platform operations, including performance, patching, upgrades and system health
  • Experience improving deployment frequency and operational processes to meet security and compliance requirements

  • Hands on experience contributing to SAP ECC to S4 migration programmes
  • Experience with Oracle Redwood UX adoption and modernisation initiatives
  • Exposure to cloud hosted or hybrid enterprise platform environments
  • Experience modernising legacy platform architectures through APIs or event driven approaches
  • Experience driving operational maturity across large scale enterprise systems
  • Background in retail
