The company reduces reliance on stateless public APIs by enabling local inference, compute, and action governance tailored to sectors such as healthcare, defence, finance, insurance, law, and critical infrastructure.

The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications and services that support MindClon's judgment infrastructure platform. This full-time, on-site role in the Greater Glasgow Area involves building scalable APIs, integrating front-end interfaces with back-end services, and collaborating with product and research teams to translate complex AI governance requirements into robust software solutions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Implementing secure and efficient data flows
  • Optimizing system performance
  • Writing clean and testable code

  • Contributing to architecture decisions
  • Deploying and monitoring production systems
  • Helping improve development processes and tooling

Qualifications:

  • Strong back-end web development skills, with experience in Software Development and Full-Stack Development.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-native applications.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), API design, and integration with external services.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, and data privacy considerations.
  • Comfort working with AI/ML-driven systems or data-intensive applications is beneficial.
  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document technical decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Interest in AI safety, governance, or high-stakes applications of technology is highly valued.

Must have:

  • 3+ years building and shipping full-stack products
  • Strong in at least two of: Flutter/Dart, TypeScript/Node, Python - and genuinely willing to work across all three
  • Production experience with Firebase or a comparable managed backend (auth, NoSQL data modelling, serverless functions)
  • Solid git and PR discipline; comfortable with CI/CD pipelines
  • A security-first mindset for sensitive data; working knowledge of UK GDPR obligations
  • Self-directed: able to take a well-described ticket to production with minimal hand-holding, and to say clearly what's blocked and why

Nice to have:

  • NHS or healthtech experience (DSPT, DCB0129/0160, information governance)
  • LLM application engineering: RAG, vLLM/Ollama serving, Whisper/STT, evals, fine-tuning
  • Riverpod specifically; mobile release pipelines (App Store / Play Store)
