As an Implementation Advisor within our Implementation and Consulting team, you are responsible for guiding the overall successful implementation and initial value realisation of incoming MindBridge customers across different industries. This customer-facing role requires a strong understanding of financial process and control transformation through technology-enabled solutions. You will be expected to lead meetings with Senior Client Executives (including Partners, VP & C-level), data/technical experts as well as manage day-to-day relationships with project leads on the client side.

Your key business partners include the sales and account management team, the greater Implementation and Consulting team who include data engineers, and Customer Success who continue the client relationship following a successful implementation. Additionally, you will be working with other members of the organisation including product management, marketing, and executive leadership, to create an effective feedback loop and drive a continuously improved customer experience.

Some indicators of whether you might be a good fit for this role are:

  • You know what General Ledgers, Subledgers, and financial transactions are.
  • You have a solid understanding of core financial processes such as Order to Cash or Record to Report.
  • You’ve worked closely with finance and accounting stakeholders, including but not limited to Finance Controller, VP/Director of Internal Audit, and Audit Manager.
  • You have a strong understanding of audit, finance, and control transformation through technology-enabled solutions.
  • You are well-versed in financial data and the systems that support it, such as ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
  • You have experience in customer-facing roles.
  • You have been part of or led change management or transformation efforts in the past.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Implementation success ownership: Own the end-to-end implementation delivery for customers from kick-off to deployment, including workshop designs, analysis deep-dives, and key deliverables.
  • Workshop delivery: Guide virtual or in-person structured workshops and prepare customised materials based on customer’s objectives and expected outcomes.
  • MindBridge SME: Become the expert of MindBridge through development of a deep understanding of our products to support in workshops development, delivery, and architecting solutions.
  • Trusted advisor to customers: Lead customers through successful implementations by understanding their objectives, business needs, and current processes and translating them into use cases, value-based outcomes, and MindBridge embedded processes.
  • Recommend solutions to changing customer requirements and emergent problems by carefully identifying and assessing risks and benefits of possible approaches.
  • Advocate for customer: Serve as the voice of the customer, relaying product feedback and feature requests to the product development team.
  • Team player: Comfortable in working under the pressure of tight project deadlines alongside the Account Team to complete successful implementations.
  • Strategic cross-functional partner: Work closely with the data engineering team to understand the data requirements and deploy the solution ensuring a smooth end-to-end workflow.
  • Continuous improvement: Contribute to the Implementation and Consulting team by being a strategic team member and identifying opportunities for improvement as it relates to internal processes, customer deliverables, and ad-hoc projects.

  • Ability to lead virtual and in-person workshops.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver several projects concurrently.

  • Ability to identify critical drivers to customer service delivery excellence.

Education & Certifications:

  • University degree in Commerce or Administration or other relevant discipline is required (strong preference for accounting or finance major).
  • CPA or Institute of Internal Auditors certification is required.
  • 5+ years in financial or accounting role within a firm or organisation.
  • 5+ years in consulting or professional services position either within a professional services firm or within an organisation.
  • Strong executive-level written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Experience implementing ERPs or taking part in finance transformation is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting integration needs.
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
  • Experience successfully managing complex projects from start to finish.
