Location: Manchester/Halifax (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)

Contract Type: Contract (via umbrella)

Rate: £306/day

Contract Duration: 6 months

Role Overview: As a Public Cloud TSM, you will manage financial governance, reporting, and cost control for multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP). You will be responsible for turning complex usage data into actionable insights, chargeback models, executive dashboards, and forecasts that help drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain monthly financial reporting packs for cloud usage, spend trends, and key financial movements.
  • Perform calculations for cost allocation, showback/chargeback, and validate consumption charging data.
  • Develop interactive dashboards, KPIs, and analytical views using Power BI, SQL, Excel Power Query and data modelling techniques.
  • Analyse large, multi-source datasets, improve data quality and strengthen reporting controls.
  • Collaborate with finance teams, service owners, platform engineers, and senior stakeholders to explain cost drivers and forecast cloud spend.
  • Support automation initiatives and process improvements for financial governance.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in cloud financial management, cost allocation, chargeback, showback, or FinOps processes.
  • Expertise in Power BI, SQL, Excel Power Query, data modelling, and financial dashboard development.
  • Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, or GCP consumption and cost structures.
  • Background in financial reporting, variance analysis, reconciliations, and forecasting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience automating finance reporting processes and defining KPIs for cost control and cloud governance.
