About the role
In our Accounts Assistant role, you'll have responsibility for a range of varied activities. You'll work closely with team members, Regional Managers, and suppliers to ensure that invoices are processed promptly, and that our weekly BACS runs are paid on time. If a supplier has a query, you will be the first point of contact, utilising resources available to respond to the supplier to ensure they have the most up-to-date information concerning payment of their invoice.
The role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to put their passion for all things finance into practice! As a key member of the Finance Team, you will be empowered to identify and suggest improvements to current processes, supported by a team who always looks for a better way to accomplish their goals.
We're looking for someone who has financial knowledge, highly numerate with an attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Experience within the Retail sector is desirable but not essential.
The Finance Team is quite often the first point of call when assistance is required so we are also looking for someone who lives and breathes our values of:
- We put people first.
- We're stronger together.
- We speak up for what's right.
- We never stop learning.
- We demand better for mental health.
