About the role
As People Development Manager, you'll lead the development and delivery of our Learning & Development strategy, working in partnership with the People Development Manager within the Northern Division to ensure a consistent, high-impact approach across the wider Retail Directorate. A core part of the role is supporting the South division, partnering closely with the Head of Retail Operations, Regional Managers and a network of Learning Leads, influencing, engaging and bringing these stakeholders with you to deliver effective and consistent learning across the division. You'll design and deliver engaging, blended learning solutions, from face-to-face workshops to digital content, while also leading key talent initiatives such as our Management Development Programme and Future Leaders programme. This is a varied and visible role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in partnership, influencing others and continuously improving how learning supports both people and business outcomes.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience designing and delivering engaging, blended learning solutions, including workshop facilitation and digital learning content
- Builds strong, credible relationships and is confident influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Can translate business priorities and challenges into practical, impactful learning solutions
- Continuously improves learning content and approaches, using feedback and insight to enhance quality and impact
- Takes a collaborative, open and coaching approach, supporting others to learn and develop effectively

Given the field-based nature of the role, it's important that you live within reasonable travelling distance of the South division to support effective delivery and maintain a healthy work-life balance. The South division covers the Midlands, London, East Anglia, the South Coast and the South West.
