About the role
Mind Retail is growing, changing, and focused on making an even greater impact - and strong financial leadership is central to that ambition. As our Head of Finance, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the financial health, commercial strength and long‑term sustainability of our retail division. You'll lead our financial planning, budgeting and commercial insight, working closely with the Retail Director and our Senior Leadership Team as a trusted partner. You'll also guide and support our finance team, ensuring our work is accurate, responsible and aligned with Mind's mission. This is a key leadership role where your expertise will help us make confident decisions and continue delivering meaningful impact across our retail network.
We're looking for someone who:
- Brings significant experience from a senior finance role, with strong skills in budgeting, forecasting and financial governance
- Can analyse complex information and turn financial insight into clear, confident recommendations
- Offers constructive challenge and strategic advice, building strong working relationships across teams
- Has experience leading finance operations such as management accounting, payroll processes or financial controls
- Communicates clearly, works collaboratively and brings a values‑led, people‑centred approach
