We are nowpartnering with BAUER Machines SAS, a subsidiary of Bauer Maschinen , a leading global supplier of the full range of special foundation machinery and offers its customers comprehensive turnkey solutions to appoint their new Area Sales Manager for the Netherlands and Belgium.
The group specialises in special foundations and associated equipment, with approximately 200 years of experience in foundations and 60 years in machinery.
The group generates over €2 billion in revenue and employs around 11,000 people.
The business is organised around three main divisions
- Resources (water and groundwater treatment, a more recent activity)
- Production (main activity, around €1.4 billion in revenue)
BAUER is recognised as a world leader in special foundations, with a strong international presence (United States, Middle East, Europe).
Its clients are mainly large construction groups (Vinci, Bouygues, Eiffage, NGE), as well as specialised local players.
- What you can expect in your new role
- Managing all customers in Belgium and Netherlands
- Maintain the leadership position in Belgium
- Develop the Netherland markets
- Developing sales strategies to drive value proposition, revenue growth, expertise and increase profitability
- Maintaining and developing long-term customer relationships
- Preparing sales proposals
- Negotiating contracts with customers and suppliers
- Managing all sales-related processes
- Monitoring and analysing the market
- Budget planning for sales activities and monitoring variances between forecasts and actual results
Requirements
- Master’s degree with a major in business development and engineering
- Native Dutch or Flemish required and very efficient in English
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operational or technical sales Civil Engineering Machinery is a plus and Deep Foundation Machinery is the Must.
- Excellent technical understanding and strategic approach to work
- Team spirit and interpersonal skills
- High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
