We have big goals over the next few years. We are going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before. Together we will be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.

Team information

We are recruiting three Legacy In Memory Officers to join Mind’s Legacy In Memory team. Our team recruits and builds meaningful relationships with supporters who choose to leave a gift in their Will to Mind or donate in memory of a loved one. We create thoughtful, insight-led campaigns and stewardship that grow long-term support, deliver excellent supporter experiences and help secure sustainable income for Mind. The Legacy In Memory team is part of a wider Mass Engagement team. In this financial year, Mass Engagement is responsible for raising more than 23 million so that Mind can fight for timely access to great quality mental health care for all. This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • The Legacy In Memory Officer will help plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising campaigns and supporter journeys from end to end.
  • You will lead on delegated campaigns and projects to build engagement with supporters and drive long term support to Mind.
  • You will use data and insight and work with colleagues and external stakeholders to optimise activity and deliver an excellent supporter experience for our legacy supporters and in memory donors.
