Team information
We're looking for a Community Fundraising Officer to join Mind's community fundraising team. This is as a maternity cover on a Fixed Term Contract of one year. The team is focused on recruiting and delivering brilliant stewardship to supporters who choose to fundraise in their own way for Mind, whether this is at home, their place of work or at school, college or university. This year the team aims to raise over £5m and support over 10,000 people and organisations who have chosen to give their time and enthusiasm in order to organise their own fundraising activity for Mind. This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Key duties and responsibilities
- The post holder will manage supporter journeys from end-to-end.
- Ensure that those who are doing their own fundraising for Mind get the support they need ahead of their fundraising activity, feel connected to Mind's mission and are inspired to fundraise.
- Work with the Senior Community Fundraising Officer to support other areas of the programme delivery, such as using data and insights to optimise and further develop our automated supporter journeys.
We'd like to hear from you if you have:
- Experience of supporting volunteers to undertake a fundraising activity and exceed their targets.
- The ability to interpret and analyse performance data to optimise supporter journeys and maximise income.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships both internally and with supporters externally.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Experience of using appropriate IT suite level of programmes associated with the role including databases and digital platforms.
- Experience of working independently to resolve routine tasks, manage own priorities and meet deadlines.
