• Salary scale: £14.46 - £16.37 per hour
• Contract: 6 month Fixed Term Contract
• Hours: Two Positions available – 1x 37 hour post and 1x 18.5 hour post (Potential room for flexibility with hours)
• Base: Kenburgh House, 28 Manor Row, Bradford, BD1 4QU

Role Overview

We are seeking an Interim CYP Service Coordinator to provide additional operational and administrative support across our Children and Young People (CYP) services during a period of workforce transition, vacancies and staff absence.

The role is expected to be temporary for approximately six months.

We are seeking between 1.0 and 0.5 WTE capacity and welcome applications from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time hours.

Role Purpose

Support the smooth day-to-day operation of CYP services through coordination of audits, referrals, caseload monitoring, incident management, rota administration, and record keeping. The role will help ensure key processes are completed consistently, information is accurate and managers have access to reliable operational information.

Role Outcomes

• Complete case file audits, file closure reviews and service activity spot checks.
• Maintain audit records and monitor completion of follow-up actions.
• Support compliance with recording standards, procedures and record keeping requirements.
• Provide operational oversight of incidents and safeguarding concerns to help ensure appropriate follow-up actions are identified, completed and recorded.
• Follow up with staff regarding incident and safeguarding actions, escalating concerns or overdue actions to managers where required.
• Maintain incident and safeguarding trackers and monitor completion of agreed actions.
• Ensure service records, databases and trackers are accurate and up to date.
• Monitor referrals, caseloads and waiting lists across CYP services.
• Support data quality checks and the production of routine operational reports.
• Coordinate staff rotas, cover arrangements and workforce records.

Experience

Essential:

• Experience in an administrative, coordination or operational support role.
• Experience maintaining databases, trackers and records.
• Experience producing reports and monitoring information.
• Experience supporting quality assurance or audit processes.
• Knowledge of safeguarding within children, health, social care or voluntary sector settings.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
