Working base: Flitwick (HQ) MK45 & Queensway Clinic, Milton Keynes MK2

Salary: £26,600 per annum, FTE (£21,747.30 per annum actual for 30.25 hours per week)

Hours: 30.25 hours per week

Work pattern:

  • Monday: 9am - 3pm HQ
  • Tuesday: 9am - 3pm MK
  • Wednesday: 4pm - 10pm MK
  • Thursday: 9am - 3pm MK
  • Friday: 9am - 3pm HQ

About Us: Mind BLMK works across our communities to support positive mental health and wellbeing. Working closely with a range of partners, we offer a number of activities from our wellbeing centres and local venues to make a difference to the mental health and wellbeing of people in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes, and our aim is to make sure that no-one has to face a mental health problem alone.

About our Services: Our Crisis Café and Recovery Lounges are safe, non-judgmental spaces that you can come to if you would like tools and techniques to prevent your mental health worsening or you find yourself in mental health distress in the evenings. The Crisis Recovery Service aims to support individuals to identify and resolve practical issues which are negatively impacting their mental health.

About the Role: The Mental Health Recovery Facilitator will support individuals recovering from crisis with a personalised, holistic support package designed to address their immediate mental health and wellbeing needs and support their access to wider networks in order to build long term resilience and manage their recovery. The successful candidate will have experience working with people to improve their mental health and wellbeing, the ability to support service users to achieve positive outcomes in relation to their individual needs and wishes and have knowledge of local community activities, leisure facilities and wider services to support with issues such as unemployment, debt, caring and housing.

  • 25 days (pro rata) Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)
