Mimica's mission is to empower enterprises, teams, and individuals to reclaim their most precious resource — time and work more efficiently, with greater purpose and impact. Our AI-powered task mining observes employee actions across the desktop and categorises them into detailed process maps. Mimica’s process intelligence highlights inefficiencies, prioritises improvements based on ROI, recommends the optimal technology for automation (RPA, intelligent document processing, GenAI), and provides a blueprint for building new automations and transforming work.

You will be one of the first Quality Engineers at Mimica and support building up the quality function long term. We’re looking to increase our capabilities in manual and automated testing, for the goal of enabling us to ship code reliably and fast. You will own the QA process for the Web App, with a primary focus on manual and automation testing and work alongside developers in a small, dynamic team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting our weekly release cycle by performing manual testing (regression, functional, exploratory);
  • Creating and maintaining E2E automated test (UI, API) suites;
  • Creating and maintaining test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and checklists;
  • Reporting and triaging bugs, helping developers troubleshoot incidents;
  • Collaborating across teams to understand our customer's needs and reflecting them in testing strategy and tactics;
  • Building up engineering culture by promoting best practices and contributing to establishing processes and standards;
  • Staying updated on industry emerging trends, sharing knowledge and driving improvements.

What you will bring:

  • In-house experience in planning and implementing a full cycle of testing activities for web projects;
  • Experience in a Startup/Scale-up environment or as a first QA in the team;
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills;
  • Hands-on knowledge of testing methodologies and test design techniques;
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript;
  • Experience in writing and supporting automated tests (E2E, integration, UI) and familiarity with modern frameworks (such as Cypress, Playwright);
  • Ability to drive initiatives forward and willingness to elevate product quality;
  • Fluency in English and being comfortable articulating complex technical ideas and trade-offs.

Bonus:

  • Experience with Node.js applications;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

Location: This is a fully remote position. You can be based anywhere in the UK, Europe, or the Americas within a UTC-7 to UTC+3 timezone.

What we offer:

  • Generous compensation + stock options — aligned with our internal framework, market data, and individual skills.
  • Distributed work: Work from anywhere — fully remote, in our hubs, or a mix.
  • Laptop, remote setup stipend, and co-working budget.
  • Flexible schedules and location.
  • Ample paid time off, in addition to local public holidays.
  • Enhanced parental leave.
  • Health and retirement benefits.
  • Annual L&D budget.
  • Annual workaways and regular virtual & in-person socials.
  • Opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects that shape the future of work.

Note: Some benefits may vary depending on location.
