About the Role
We’re looking for an exceptional Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of ~50 customers (1000–3000 employees), focusing on upselling new and existing products. As the main point of contact for these accounts, you’ll be their trusted advisor, guiding them through Mimecast’s cutting-edge technology stack and helping them tackle today’s cybersecurity challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual upsell revenue targets.
- Prevent churn and mitigate downsell within your assigned accounts.
- Partner with the Channel Development Team to create and execute impactful account plans.
- Drive incremental revenue by selling new technology into existing customers.
- Follow a proven end-to-end sales methodology to close deals efficiently.
- Continuously develop your skills through training and knowledge-building sessions.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven IT or SaaS sales experience (3+ years).
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue quotas.
- Experience working with corporate IT teams and selling through Channel partners.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Strong communication skills, a positive outlook, and a “can-do” attitude.
- Knowledge or experience in cybersecurity, email/messaging, or enterprise IT is a huge plus!

The OTE salary range for this position is £116,000−£174,000 plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
