We are excited to be hiring a UKI MSP Channel Account Manager who will be part of a team responsible for managing a group of Mimecast Managed Service Provider Partners within the UK and Ireland. The role will report directly into the MSP Partner Sales Manager.
The candidate must be a Partner and customer focused, results orientated, collaborative and determined individual. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop their account management skills through relationship building, business planning, problem solving and engaging with the wider business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide an excellent Partner experience to the Mimecast MSP Channel.
- Manage a selection of MSP accounts, build peer-to-peer relationships with their key contacts, create and execute against business plans to drive lead generation and account growth.
- Support the MSP Partners with one-to-many lead generation activities, general queries, customer support escalations, training and enablement requirements.
- Drive partners to utilise our dedicated Channel resources, such as the Mimecast Partner Portal and Resource Library.
- Leverage and collaborate with stakeholders in supporting functions, mainly Marketing, Support, Licensing and Renewals and Sales Engineering to ensure excellent Partner experience.
- Engage with marketing to drive ‘to and through’ Channel Marketing Programs and communications.
- Ensure that partners are meeting the program requirements, including sales and technical certifications and revenue goals.
- Provide executive alignment with Mimecast and MSP stakeholders where appropriate, and work closely with MSP sales and technical teams within all Partners.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including SE organization, product marketing, sales, marketing, operations and legal) to deliver a world class experience for the MSP.
- Accurately forecast MSP opportunities.
- Be committed to following and adapting your own operating model tasks and KPIs for consistent, scalable and predictable performance.
- Commitment to continuous personal development, including training and enablement programs, product, market and competitive landscape.
- Account Management and/or Sales experience of 5+ years.
- Channel and/or Distribution experience of 3+ years.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working in high-growth and changeable environments.
- Articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Travel will be expected throughout the UK, based on Partner and customer locations.
The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is £88,000−£132,000 (OTE) plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
