As a Senior Product Designer for Email Threat Protection, you shape the experiences that help security teams, IT administrators and everyday users stay ahead of increasingly sophisticated attacks. Responsibilities
- Lead design end‑to‑end and drive the full design process for Email Threat Protection features from discovery to production‑ready UI.
- Apply strong UI fundamentals—typography, layout, colour, hierarchy—to make complex, AI‑driven security data clear and human.
- Own and evolve the design system: deepen understanding of its architecture, author documentation, and contribute new patterns and enhancements.
- Build with AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Figma, agentic coding tools) to rapidly prototype and deliver production‑quality frontends.
- Design intelligently for AI behaviour—surface confidence, uncertainty, and reasoning, collaborate with AI/ML engineers, and define transparent interaction patterns.
- Validate direction continuously with user research, analytics, and qualitative insights; advocate loud for security administrators, IT teams, and frontline users.
- Build strong relationships with Product and Engineering through workshops and open collaboration; unblock dependencies and champion Design Thinking across the business.
Qualifications
- In‑depth product‑design experience with a portfolio of shipped B2B or SaaS work.
- Mastery of Figma and a prototyping toolkit from lo‑fi to pixel‑perfect delivery.
- Active, demonstrable use of AI‑native prototyping workflows.
- Strong UI foundations: typography, layout, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience contributing to a living design system—documenting components, defining behaviour, maintaining patterns.
- Sharp analytical and communication skills; ability to make a case for design decisions.
- Experience in Agile, multidisciplinary squads and designing against real user needs.
- Great to have: experience designing for AI, LLM‑powered or conversational products; background in security, data‑heavy or enterprise admin interfaces; portfolio showing measurable impact; familiarity with WCAG2.1 AA; motion design or advanced prototyping tools (Framer, Rive, code‑based animation).
Benefits
The base salary range for this position is £68,000–£102,000 plus benefits. The range represents the minimum and maximum new‑hire compensation for this role and may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits in accordance with company policy and local regulations.
