Talem Home Care is seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Providers in Sussex, WI and surrounding areas. As a Personal Care Provider, you'll provide unskilled personal care and household services for clients in their homes. You'll assist with household chores, personal hygiene, and provide companionship to ensure our clients' spaces are clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license or state ID
- Access to a reliable automobile or public transportation
- Completion of a twenty-hour training program or six months of personal care experience in a home care setting preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, and squat throughout the day
- Ability to safely assist clients in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50lbs into and out of a vehicle
- Physical ability to lift and transfer clients
- Use arms, legs, feet, hands, and fingers to assist clients with performing tasks of daily living
- Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking, and driving
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Ability to see and hear well (naturally or with correction)
