Milverton Nursing Care Home is a welcoming 30-bed residential and dementia care facility located in Surbiton. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team and help us deliver the highest standards of care. About the role
- Provide safe, high-quality, and person-centred care in line with individual care plans
- Supervise and support care assistants, acting as a mentor and role model
- Administer medication safely and accurately (with relevant qualification)
- Ensure compliance with all care legislation, including CQC Fundamental Standards
- Promote dignity, independence, and personal choice for all residents
- A positive, caring individual who wants to make a difference every day
About you
- NVQ Level 3/ NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification) or willing to achieve
- Minimum of two years' experience working with older adults and individuals living with dementia
- Previous supervisory experience (essential)
- Prior Senior Care Assistant experience (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of care legislation and best practice
