Salary: £13ph on weekdays, £13.50ph on weekends

About the Role: As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home. Your work is essential in supporting infection prevention, promoting resident wellbeing, and ensuring our home remains comfortable and welcoming for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping & Cleaning: Clean residents' bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, communal lounges, dining areas, corridors, offices, and other areas of the home. Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, and disinfect surfaces to a high standard. Clean bathrooms, toilets, showers, sinks, and other sanitary facilities. Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately. Respond promptly to spillages and cleaning emergencies. Carry out routine inspections and report any maintenance issues or repairs required. Complete deep cleaning tasks and support special cleaning projects. Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure cleaning products are stored safely. Keep cleaning supply rooms stocked and organised. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high-quality environment.
  • Laundry Duties: Assist with washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents' clothing and personal laundry when required. Ensure clean linen and bedding are available at all times.

About You:

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in a care home, healthcare, hospitality, or similar environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Essential Requirements:

  • Fixed work pattern: 28 hours per week (Tues 7am - 1pm, Weds 8am - 1pm, Thurs 8am - 1pm, Fri 8am - 1pm, Sun 7am - 2pm)
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
  • A good standard of verbal and written English is essential.
  • Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS, proof of the right to work in the UK, and 2 x References.
  • We are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
