Our roles are either designated ‘site based’ or ‘home based’. ‘Site based’ roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst ‘home based’ roles are based at home four days a week. Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
Job Introduction:
This is a Site-Based role, and you’ll be expected to work from the designated workplace. This role may be suitable for home working, following an assessment. Home‑based roles require a minimum of one day per week working from the office or site.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain compliance data for Council homes to support safety and legal requirements.
- Ensure data is accurate, complete and kept up to date across housing systems.
- Produce clear and timely reports that help the Housing Maintenance and Investment team understand compliance performance and risks.
- Support colleagues across the Housing Maintenance and Investment team by providing reliable data and insight.
- Work closely with surveyors, contract managers and other colleagues to resolve data gaps and inconsistencies.
- Help improve systems and processes so compliance information is captured consistently and efficiently.
- Contribute to service improvement work that helps keep around 11,000 Council homes safe, compliant and ready to be lived in.
- Play an active role within a team that delivers repairs, maintenance and capital works to support safe and decent homes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Business intelligence, or a related field or working towards with demonstrable experience.
- Experience managing complex data sets, ideally within housing, property, compliance or asset management services.
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of data accuracy.
- Confidence using systems to record, analyse and report information.
- The ability to explain data clearly and simply to a range of colleagues.
- Experience working collaboratively as part of a team.
- An organised approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- A commitment to making a real difference to residents living in Council homes.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. If we offer you the role, we’ll ask you to provide evidence of your driving licence and vehicle insurance, including cover for business use. We’re unable to confirm an appointment until these documents are received.
