Technician: Arts

Milton Keynes College are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic team player to join the team as a Technician in our School of Arts and Media.

As a Technician for the School of Arts and Media, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of all support areas, including the department\’s laser cutter, kiln, sewing machines, and screen-printing facilities. A working knowledge of these areas is therefore desirable.

In addition, you will manage stock and resources effectively while ensuring that both students and staff are working in a safe environment. You will support and guide students in the use and care of equipment, and you will also have the opportunity to assist with internal and external events, projects, exhibitions, work experience opportunities, and student visits. This may occasionally include working evenings and weekends.
