At Milton Keynes College, the learner is central to all our endeavours. As a Progress Mentor, you will help shape the future of young people by delivering inspiring lessons, based on individual growth and awareness of the wider world. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver a set curriculum at the college, exploring key topical components aimed at developing understanding of oneself and the wider world and communities in which we live. You will motivate and energise young people, discuss potentially sensitive topics, and support learner progression through career planning. You will also challenge learners to enhance their performance on their programme of study through attendance support.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young people and/or adults, providing advice, guidance and/or education.
- Demonstrated interest in the development of young people.
