Job description

Milton Keynes College have an exciting opportunity for an Inclusion Practitioner to join our Prison Education team at HMP Elmley, working 16 hours a week. This will ideally be made up of 2 full days, working any days between Monday-Thursday 08:15-16:45, with a 30 minute lunch break.

As a successful Inclusion Practitioner, you will provide inspirational learning support to small groups of learners and on a 1:1 basis. You will also work with tutors to provide information that will support learners with SEN in the class. This will require a holistic approach to highlight specific learning needs and improve learner skills. Your focus will be on ALS, Maths and English, leading to employability outcomes, with effective target setting to meet individual needs.

You will be a passionate, creative and empathetic towards our learners and be able to offer knowledge and guidance to our learners. As an Inclusion Practitioner, you will be working across the whole prison estate, on all wings where education is delivered.
