As a Teaching Support Assistant within the Learning Support department, you will support learners in achieving their potential within their mainstream setting across a wide variety of subject areas. You will work closely with curriculum staff to ensure the best level of support and guidance for students and maintain effective assistance in the classroom.
Occasional workers provide cover for staff sickness and will need to be available at short notice. Hours are not fixed, ranging up to 37.5 hours per week during term time only. Ideal availability: full morning or afternoon sessions and/or full working days.
- Afternoon sessions: 13:00–18:00 (Mon‑Fri)
- Full days: 08:00–18:00 (Mon‑Fri)
Requirements:
- Minimum English & Maths Level 2
- Experience of working with individuals with additional needs
- Good availability during full morning or afternoon sessions and/or full working days
