Are you interested in sharing your love of learning with inspiring and courageous young people, alongside a passionate and motivated staff team? Our Inclusive Learning team is offering an exciting opportunity for a new Lecturer to join us for the next academic year on a fixed term contract. We are dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential, not only in their chosen subjects but also by developing essential life and employability skills. We encourage students to be themselves - creative, imaginative, and confident individuals - and our goal is to ensure they leave college with the tools they need to succeed in the future.
Our Inclusive Learning provision supports students with learning difficulties and disabilities, offering courses from Entry Level 1 to Level 1. These programmes focus on building independent living skills, work skills, and personal confidence in a supportive, friendly, and engaging environment. We are looking for an experienced individual to teach across a range of courses, including Vocational Pathways, Independent Living, Work Skills, and core subjects such as English and maths. The role involves contributing to curriculum design and delivery, working alongside a team of specialist teachers. While you don't need expertise in every area, knowledge across several would be highly beneficial. You will also have access to our specialist facilities to support your teaching.
