HMP Isle of Wight have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team. We are seeking a creative and inspiring Painting and Decorating Lecturer who can deliver engaging classes to learners based within the prison. As a Painting and Decorating Lecturer, you will be supporting learners to achieve success and guiding them through the courses. You will not only help them to achieve qualifications, up to level 3 with City & Guilds, but will also support them to develop confidence and skills they can apply to employment upon release, or to other job opportunities within the establishment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Painting and Decorating classes to learners based within the prison.
  • Support learners to achieve qualifications up to level 3 with City & Guilds.
  • Help learners develop confidence and transferable skills for employment on release or in other roles within the establishment.
Qualifications
  • Experience delivering Painting and Decorating sessions in a relevant setting.
  • Qualification to at least Level 3 in Painting and Decorating with City & Guilds or equivalent, or evidence of equivalent competency.
