Following a period of learner growth, we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable specialist in digital technologies to share enthusiasm and industry‑informed experience with students preparing to enter the fast‑growing digital sector. The successful candidate will primarily deliver teaching across our computing provision, including Level 2 programmes, the T Level Foundation Year and OCR Information Technology. The role focuses on supporting learners to develop practical digital skills, confidence and an understanding of how technology is applied in real‑world contexts.

We are particularly interested in applicants with experience or strengths in one or more of the following areas:

  • Digital Systems and Applications, including an understanding of how software and digital tools are used within modern organisations.
  • Mobile Technologies and Networking, including experience of mobile technology units, networking concepts, typologies and practical implementation.
  • Emerging and Immersive Technologies, including awareness or experience of AR and VR technologies and their applications.
  • Cloud Computing Fundamentals, including an understanding of cloud‑based services and digital infrastructure (desirable).
  • Software and Development Awareness, including a general awareness of software development approaches; familiarity with full‑stack development would be an advantage.

This role offers the opportunity to bring real‑world digital and industry knowledge into the classroom, ensuring learners develop the skills, behaviours and confidence required for skilled employment, apprenticeships or progression to higher education.
