Aylesbury have an exciting new opportunity for a multi-skills Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team. We are keen to hear from candidates with or without formal teaching experience who have trade skills such as painting & decorating, plastering, bricklaying, carpentry or plumbing. This role offers the chance to start a career in education with training available to help you achieve your full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inspirational and positive learning experiences for learners
  • Support learners to achieve success through formal qualifications
  • Develop learners' confidence and wider employability skills
  • Communicate well with students, inspire and motivate them
  • Contribute to a professional learning environment within the Education Team

Qualifications

  • Trade skills in painting & decorating, plastering, bricklaying, carpentry or plumbing (not all may be applicable)
  • Candidate with or without formal teaching experience; willingness to train and develop teaching skills
