Could you motivate and inspire prison-based learners? HMP Isle of Wight currently have 3 vacancies for Vocational Tutors to join their prison based education team.
- Bricklaying - Full Time
- Plastering / Painting and Decorating - Part time if one trade, Full time if covering both
- Barbering - Part time (Mon-Fri Mornings) or could be incorporated with Inclusion/Outreach work Mon-Thurs afternoons to make the role Full Time
Full Time working hours are Mon-Thurs all day and Fri mornings only. Generous Pension and Annual Leave allowance!
We are seeking an individual who can communicate well with students, inspire and motivate them. We are keen to hear from candidates with or without formal teaching experience. If you have the skills and experience and are interested in starting a career within education – we can provide the training to help you achieve your full potential, just as we expect you to be able to help our learners achieve theirs.
As a successful Tutor, you will truly inspire them and provide learners with a positive learning experience. You will be connecting with students in a professional manner, supporting them with their learning, enabling them to achieve success through not only qualifications, but developing the confidence and softer skills that they can apply to employment as well as other areas of education.
