Are you passionate about your trade? Have you ever thought about teaching? HMP Aylesbury have an exciting new opportunity for a multi-skills Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team.
Working hours (On-site at the prison):
- Tuesday – 08:00 – 17:00
- Wednesday – 08:00 – 17:00
- Thursday – 08:00 – 17:00
- Friday – 08:00 – 12:00
If you have trade skills, such as painting & decorating, plastering, bricklaying, carpentry or plumbing (not all may be applicable), we are keen to hear from candidates with or without formal teaching experience. As a successful Vocational Tutor, you will provide inspirational and positive learning experiences, connecting with learners in a professional manner, supporting them to achieve success through formal qualifications, developing their confidence and wider employability skills.
We are seeking an individual who can communicate well with students, inspire and motivate them. If you are interested in starting a career within education – we can provide the training to help you achieve your full potential.
