We're recruiting a Charging Officer to join our Financial Assessment and Care Charging Team at Milton Keynes City Council. This rewarding role supports Adult Social Care by ensuring charges are fair and accurately calculated. The team calculates the financial contribution a client can afford for their Adult Social Care services, working closely with council colleagues, clients, and care providers.
Responsibilities
- Raise accurate invoices and respond to queries.
- Work with Sundry Debt colleagues to reduce Adult Social Care debt.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate charge calculations and records.
- Ensure charges reflect assessed weekly contributions and services delivered.
Work Location
Home‐based roles may be suitable after assessment, with a minimum of one day per week in the office or site.
