Spirehouse Recruitment is currently exclusively recruiting for a Contract Administrator (JCT) with Milton Keynes Council on a permanent basis. The Opportunity: The role involves overseeing the management of a high-value contract for the repairs and maintenance of 11,500 council houses. This position ensures the effective, efficient and compliant delivery of a £60 million per annum contract, in line with all regulations and contractual agreements. Key Duties: Act as the primary point of contact for the JCT (Joint Contracts Tribunal) contract Overseeing the contract’s day-to-day management and administration to ensure smooth operations and adherence to all contractual agreements Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, residents, and tenant representatives Address any concerns or feedback related to the contract services effectively Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards, particularly the CDM Regulations Further Information: Permanent opportunity (immediate start available but not essential) Full time: 37 hours each week, Monday – Friday Salary of £50,000 – £60,000 per annum, dependant on experience Requirements: In-depth knowledge of JCT contracts, contract law, and procurement best practices Significant experience in working with contractors, using various contract mechanisms to deliver repairs and maintenance work to social housing stock Proven experience in managing high-value contracts, preferably within the social housing sector or another public sector environment Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial reporting Please apply for this role online or contact Kim Parsons at Spirehouse for a confidential discussion. 0126 304 775 07441472715 kim@spirehouse.co.uk Spirehouse Recruitment is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency.
