We are expanding and are looking to add to our team a dedicated, enthusiastic and hard-working dental nurse.
Job responsibilities of the Dental Nurse at Milton Dental Practice:
- Assist the dentist or hygienist in all clinical procedures, such as examinations, fillings, extractions and scaling.
- Assist with radiographs and scan phosphor plates.
- Take intra-oral photographs.
- Maintain the surgery in a state of cleanliness to prevent cross infection.
- Maintain instruments and equipment in a safe and sterile state.
- Enter treatment details onto computer-held patient records, accurately taking dictation as required.
- Prepare materials for use in all procedures.
- Order and maintain an accurate inventory of dental materials.
- Attend to patient comfort and safety.
- Assist in compliance and conduct audits as required by the practice.
- Arrange appointments.
- Take telephone calls.
- Take payments from patients.
- Maintain patient records.
- General cleaning.
- Maintain full confidentiality at all times.
