From our historic Breakspeare House location, we provide comprehensive family dental care that spans generations. We are expanding and are looking to add to our team a dedicated, enthusiastic and hard-working dental nurse.

Job responsibilities of the Dental Nurse at Milton Dental Practice:

  • Assist the dentist or hygienist in all clinical procedures, such as examinations, fillings, extractions and scaling.
  • Assist with radiographs and scan phosphor plates.
  • Take intra-oral photographs.
  • Maintain the surgery in a state of cleanliness to prevent cross infection.
  • Maintain instruments and equipment in a safe and sterile state.
  • Enter treatment details onto computer-held patient records, accurately taking dictation as required.
  • Prepare materials for use in all procedures.
  • Order and maintain an accurate inventory of dental materials.
  • Attend to patient comfort and safety.
  • Assist in compliance and conduct audits as required by the practice.
  • Arrange appointments.
  • Take telephone calls.
  • Take payments from patients.
  • Maintain patient records.
  • General cleaning.
  • Maintain full confidentiality at all times.
