Milton Church of England Primary School, part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT), is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The position is for 23.75 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, from 8.30 am to 1.15 pm, Monday to Friday in KS1. This is a fixed-term role for 1 year, commencing September 2026.
We are looking for a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals. To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
- Have experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
- Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
- Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to use your initiative
- Be able to work flexibly and professionally
