Key Purpose
To support the delivery of the Firms HR vision and strategy by providing effective administrative and operational support across a full range of human resources activities. The role will support Firm-wide objectives and act as a key point of contact for HR guidance and support. You will contribute to the delivery of HR initiatives and people-focused solutions that promote best practice and support operational effectiveness across the Firm. You are responsible for ensuring that our people receive the best possible employee experience to help them thrive throughout their career. To be an ambassador of the Firms values.
Key Objectives
- To understand the HR strategy and assist in the delivery of HR goals.
- Assist in the development of consistent work practices across the Firm.
- Assist the People Partner to deliver Firm initiatives.
- To act as a role model and encourage a positive culture around the Firms values.
- Maintain an awareness and knowledge of external HR developments and changes in legislation, providing suitable interpretation and documentation to key stakeholders across the Firm.
- Assist in the delivery of effective recruitment, welfare, and motivation of people in line with the Firms culture, values and strategy.
- Liaise with external HR resources and third-party providers.
- Facilitation of people development solutions to include onboarding, continuing professional development and industry qualifications.
- Maintain effective HR systems and records through the Firms HR system.
- Provide general HR administrative assistance where required.
- Compile accurate and timely communication to our people with employment lifecycle updates such as, but not limited to, changes in terms of contract, remuneration, flexible working etc.
- Build proactive working relationships to support all managers in the handling of employee issues including sickness absence, grievance and disciplinary matters whilst encouraging best practice.
- Provide informal liaison support for employees.
- To have a collaborative approach with your department and the rest of the Firm.

Qualifications Preferred: CIPD Foundation Certificate in HR Practice (Level 3 or above).
