Milsom House Nursing & Residential Home is searching for a dynamic, driven, caring, and empathetic person to join us as a General Assistant / Housekeeper at Milsom House in St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan. About the Role

  • Position: General Assistant / Housekeeper
  • Location: St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan
  • Employment Type: Permanent full-time
  • Salary: £12.40 - £12.52 per hour
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

  • To supervise and participate in the process of maintaining good order, cleanliness, and tidiness in all internal areas of Milsom House Nursing Home.
  • To ensure correct disposal of household and clinical waste.
  • To work within the policies and procedures as laid down by The Manor House t/a Milsom House Nursing Home management.
  • To undertake other tasks as required by the Home Manager or Senior Nurse.
  • To assist Residents with their meals, where required, and with any other daily living requirements to support the Residents.
  • To report any perceived changes in the resident’s condition to the Senior Nurse on duty.

Qualifications

  • You will be required to maintain a manual handling certificate. Training will be provided.
  • Relevant experience, education, or certificates welcome; however, full training will be provided.
  • Full clean driving licence.
