The Role- Support the Head Chef in leading and inspiring the banqueting kitchen team
- Deliver refined, high quality food for weddings and private events
- Assist in the creation and execution of seasonal, premium banqueting menus
- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation and consistency
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of food costs, ordering and stock control
- Ensure the highest levels of hygiene and compliance are consistently met
- Assist the main kitchen team during quieter periods when events are not taking place
- Experienced Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous from a quality hotel or events background
- Passion for refined food with excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of food cost control and kitchen operations
- Strong organisational skills with a calm, professional, hands on approach
- Level 3 Food Safety preferred
- Full UK driving licence required due to location
