The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

Responsible for the proper movement of finished product from production to the cooler racking for storage.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete pre-shift inspection of forklifts and submit required daily inspection paperwork.
  • Ensure proper rotation of product is loaded using FIFO system.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe manner including but not limited to powered or manual low-lift trucks.
  • Inspect trailers for cleanliness based on SQF guidelines.
  • Ensure all paperwork has been completed for pre/post shift activities.
  • Log finished product in inventory when placed on cooler racks.
  • Ensure assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized per SSO guidelines.
  • Ensure utilization of dock locks when loading trucks.
  • Ensure all forklifts are placed on charge before leaving for the day.
  • Inspect loading equipment for defects and report deficiencies to management.
  • Inspect trailers meet required temperature of 36 degrees before loading product.
  • Assist with cycle counts, material staging, and stock transitions.
  • Responsible for the distribution of product donations as requested.
  • Record and process inventory transactions of all materials (inbound, outbound stock movements within the appropriate system).
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Upholds and participates in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
  • This position has responsibilities related to Food Quality and Safety.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Applicants must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic mathematical functions.
  • A valid driver’s license and a forklift and electric pallet jack certification will be required upon job placement.

Physical Demands:

  • The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, and hear.
  • The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet and/or humid conditions.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
