Production Co-ordinator
Summary
Reporting to Senior Management, this role is important to ensure effective co-ordination of manufacturing and repair activities to ensure company objectives and customer expectations are achieved.
Experience in production control within a mechanical engineering environment with good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attitude to quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Co-ordinate with General Manager to review and establish priorities and prepare schedules.
- Liaise with Operations Manager to assist in production control to meet customer/company requirements.
- Liaise with Repair Eng Manager to ensure timely availability of parts, consumables etc for assembly projects.
- Liaise with administration/purchasing for issue of purchase orders etc for sub-contract.
- Liaise with Engineering regarding assessment process, bills of material and technical sub-contract.
- Monitor material/parts receipts from suppliers to ensure continuous operations.
- Plan sub-contract services in a timely manner to maintain schedule.
- Investigate options to improve production methods and efficiency.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained.

- Monday to Thursday 07.45 – 16.15
- Friday 07.45 – 12.45
- Salary: £42,000 per annum
